Terms of Delivery and Payment

A few words in advance: I run this bookstore only as a hobby, because I myself have a great interest in narrow gauge and industrial railways worldwide. This means that it is not that professional like the big bookstores. However, please do not hesitate to inform me about errors.

1.My lists are only an information on narrow gauge and industrial railway books I know, and those books, that I already have ordered from that publisher. This is not an “Online-Shop”. If you tell me which books you are interested in, I can find out if these are on stock or within a reasonable time to get from the publisher. Delivery dates for not yet published books and those, that currently are not on stock, cannot be guaranteed.

2.All prices are shown in Euro (€), and include the statutory VAT.

3.Customers from foreign countries have to pay the invoice amount in advance. When I receive your order, I will inform you about items that can be delivered, the postage cost to your country and payment details. As my business is too small, I cannot accept creditcards. Payment is possible with:

• PayPal: if you have a PayPal account, this is the easiest way for payment. Please allow to include a 5% surcharge for the PayPal-fees on my side (you may know, that PayPal is only charging the receiver, not the sender)
  
• Normal bank transfer: If you live inside the EU, this kind of payment via IBAN-No. is save and in-expensive. No surcharge.

Customers from outside the EU-territory do not have to pay the German VAT. We will deduct this amount from your invoice. For payment: In case you use bank transfer, please do this free of charge for the receiver.
Delivery can only be done while stocks last.

4.Postage costs. We will charge you only for the actual postage costs. For larger orders we carry a part of these costs from our side.

• For customers inside EU we prefer shipment with “HERMES”-Parcel service.
  
• Customers outside EU get parcels by “Deutsche Post”/DHL
• Special agreements are possible on customers demand

5.If you receive a damaged parcel, please complain immediately at delivery, and get a written confirmation that the parcel was damaged during transport. This makes it easy to get a replacement from the parcel-service. In addition, please make one or two digital photos. Please inform me as soon as possible, also in case that some other defects on books are found.

6.Jurisdiction location in case of disputes is Celle, Germany
